The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were accused of benefitting from the ‘blood, tears and sweat’ of slaves as they arrived in Jamaica to be met by a protest calling for reparations.
The royal couple were pictured smiling as they played the bongos surrounded by local musicians at the town’s Culture Yard Museum – where reggae legend Bob Marley used to live.
Kate wooed arriving in a yellow dress before changing into a multi-coloured outfit as the royal couple arrived in Trench Town to greet sport stars including Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling.
