The royal couple were mobbed by huge crowds of well-wishers desperate to shake their hands and share high-fives as they travelled to Trench Town and visited Bob Marley’s former home.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were accused of benefitting from the ‘blood, tears and sweat’ of slaves as they arrived in Jamaica to be met by a protest calling for reparations.
The royal couple were pictured smiling as they played the bongos surrounded by local musicians at the town’s Culture Yard Museum – where reggae legend Bob Marley used to live.
Kate wooed arriving in a yellow dress before changing into a multi-coloured outfit as the royal couple arrived in Trench Town to greet sport stars including Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling.
Manchester City forward Raheem Sterling, who was born in Kingston, accepted a personal invite from the Duke of Cambridge to attend an event in the country.
